About this website
meandcollective.com is a portfolio, information and business website for ME&CO. It presents services, experience, projects, articles, books, resources and ways to make contact. References to “ME&CO”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the ME&CO design and digital consultancy operated by Steve Roberts.
02
Accepting and changing these terms
By accessing or using the website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, you should stop using it. The terms may be updated when the website, services or legal requirements change. The current version and revision date will be published on this page.
03
Website information
Website content is provided for general information and to explain ME&CO’s experience and services. It is not legal, financial, medical or other regulated professional advice. Although reasonable care is taken, content may become incomplete or out of date and should not be treated as a substitute for advice suited to your circumstances.
04
Services and project enquiries
Submitting an enquiry, booking a call or discussing a project does not create a contract or guarantee availability. Paid work begins only when the scope, responsibilities, price, payment terms and other conditions have been agreed in writing. A proposal, statement of work or contract will take priority if it conflicts with these general website terms.
05
Intellectual property
Unless stated otherwise, the website design, written content, graphics, illustrations, case-study presentation, downloads and other original material are owned by or licensed to ME&CO and protected by intellectual-property law. Trade marks and third-party materials remain the property of their respective owners.
You may view and share links to public pages for personal or legitimate business reference. You may not copy, republish, sell, scrape, remove credits from or commercially exploit substantial website content without written permission.
06
Books, downloads and resources
Free and paid resources are provided under the licence or purchase terms shown with the item. Unless expressly stated otherwise, downloads are for the purchaser’s or recipient’s own personal or internal business use. They may not be resold, redistributed, uploaded to shared libraries or used to create competing products.
07
Acceptable use
You must use the website lawfully and without damaging the service or other users.
• Do not attempt unauthorised access, introduce malicious code, overload the service or interfere with security.
• Do not use automated tools to extract substantial content without permission.
• Do not submit unlawful, abusive, misleading, infringing or confidential third-party material.
• Do not misrepresent an association with ME&CO or use the website for fraudulent activity.
08
Information you submit
You are responsible for information, files and materials submitted through enquiries or project discussions. You should have the right to share them and should avoid sending unnecessary sensitive personal information. Submission of an enquiry does not transfer ownership of your materials, but it allows ME&CO to review and use them for responding to the enquiry and, where agreed, delivering the project.
09
Third-party websites and services
The website may link to external platforms, shops, social networks, booking systems, publishers or other services. Links are provided for convenience and do not mean ME&CO controls or endorses everything on those services. Their availability, content, privacy and terms are the responsibility of the relevant provider.
10
Availability and security
ME&CO aims to keep the website available and secure but does not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free or malware-free access. Features may be changed, suspended or removed for maintenance, security, technical or business reasons. You are responsible for using suitable device, browser and security protections.
11
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation and for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Subject to that, ME&CO is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising solely from use of, or inability to use, the public website or reliance on general website content. Any liability connected with paid services is governed by the relevant project agreement.
12
Governing law and contact
These website terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer rights that apply where you live. Questions can be sent to enquiry@meandcollective.com.
